We appreciate your interest in Sefar. Privacy is important to us. In the following we would like to explain to you what data we collect when our website www.sefar.com is accessed and how this data is handled. However, please note that our websites may contain links to other websites to which this privacy statement does not extend.

Collection and processing of personal data

As with almost all Internet pages, the following data are collected by default when visiting pages from our website: the name of their service provider (IP address), the website accessing the page on our website, the browser used and also the date, time and duration of the visit. This information cannot be used to identify the person accessing the site. Further data will only be saved if you give it to us specifically – for example as part of an online job-application or when answering a questionnaire. Handling contact information

When you visit our website, our web server is set to save the following data as «server logfiles».

When accessing these Internet pages containing such a plugin, a direct connection is made from your browser to the servers of Pinterest, where your log data is transmitted and stored. If you've logged in using your Pinterest account, Pinterest will also be able to register your visit with your Pinterest account. Newsletter subscription

If you have subscribed to a newsletter-service with us, we will inform you by fax or e-mail about company news, etc. You can unsubscribe from any of these service offers at any time. An e-mail to webadmin@sefar.com or a call (+41 71 898 5700) is sufficient.
If you recommend a page to a friend or acquaintance and use the service «send this page by e-mail», we will use your details for sending the e-mail and for informing the recipient about the person who made the recommendation. Your information will not be used by us for any other purposes and will not be stored permanently.

Right of access

Upon request, Sefar will inform you in accordance with the applicable law whether personal data about you are stored by us; and if so, we will inform you as to its contents. If – despite our efforts to ensure that our stored information is accurate and up-to-date – incorrect information is stored, we will correct it at your request.
